In this wild and remote place, a desperate cry for help almost always goes unheard.

Each episode of Dead Quiet tells a compelling true-life murder story, that happened on the Prairies some time between 1960 and 2010. Every episode presents a deeply troubling mystery that we – and the viewer – will investigate, and eventually resolve together. Every story will feature interviews with crime experts and participants, re-enactments, stills, and archival newsreel film from the actual events.

They never saw it coming. They never stood a chance. Because the one thing that is constant out here is that when trouble comes you’re on your own.

And from the day they put you in the ground, you will forever be… Dead Quiet.
